standing at six feet, six inches, jinx has a rather stalky frame; her shoulders are narrow, arms thin, chest flat. her hips are a wide curve, however, giving her thick thighs and a strong stance. her skin is dark, from her native heritage, and dotted here and there with dark beauty marks, mostly on her arms, shoulders, and upper back. her thin, minty green hair stretches down to the small of her back, though she mainly keeps it up in two ponytails at the sides of her scalp. her bangs sweep off to the right side of her face, hanging low and often covering her near-black eyes.

in terms of fashion, jinx loves to wear warm browns and tans, giving her overall appearance a chocolate-mint vibe. mainly, she chooses clothes with many pockets - the less noticeable, the better - where she can store any random knickknack she decides to take. her whole person is adorned with various buttons, pinned to her vest, her brown beret, the strap of her bag. most of them she's stolen, all of them from cities and regions she's visited, and her collection is ever growing.

PERSONALITY:

jinx is a very sociable person; she thrives in big groups of people, as well as in one-on-one conversations. she has a way of convincing people to believe what she says; mostly that she can speak french, since she's a former kalos resident. she doesn't overtly mean any ill-will towards anyone, she just has fun telling wild stories and facts to a gullible audience. she does, however, have a compulsion to steal any small, pocket-sized thing she sees. she can't help it, though she has tried to stop, but she still ends up with her vest pockets full of jewelry and unimportant junk. she's very secretive about her kleptomania, and is terrified of being caught and arrested for something out of her control.

the free spirit that she is, jinx doesn't want to find somewhere to settle down; she dreams of traveling every acre of land, every mile of sea, every mountaintop and deep cave. she doesn't like to stay in one place for too long and absolutely hates being cooped up - she gets cabin fever far too easily, even when she's only been somewhere for a few hours. she tends to work fast so she can move on, and has gotten pretty precise when working quickly, though she's completely lost the ability to take her time and be thorough. it's an even trade-off, she thinks.

BIRTHPLACE: lumiose city, kalos region.
HISTORY:

born and raised in the kalos region, jinx first got the inkling to travel at a young age. when she turned thirteen, she quickly fled her constricting parents and her lumiose city home, deciding to travel the region and meet all sorts of people. however, since lumiose city was the largest city in kalos as well as the social hub, she didn't discover nearly as much as she was hoping to in the couple years she spent traveling. thus, jinx decided to head out overseas. she spent a fair amount of time in johto next, exploring the ruins and the whirlpool islands, meeting all sorts of more "traditional" people, compared to the residents of kalos. she spent a few years wandering johto and meeting people before growing bored, then she moved on to the region of kanto next door. she found it more simple than johto and less bound in tradition, but it was still a far different experience than any of the other two regions.

jinx dated a few people in that time, discovering a lot about herself (and, unwillingly, furthering her stolen objects collection) before tiring of kanto's simple landscape. she heard about avana pretty recently, and made the snap decision to make that her next conquest; so, saying goodbye to everyone she had met, she traveled to avana for new experiences.
