PERSONALITY:
Upon first meeting him, Dustil's personality can easily come off as cocky and annoying. He's impulsive, shortsighted and often downright rude and ignorant. He hardly ever lets anyone come close to him, but occasionally he will make a few friends. He tends to keep most people at arm's length due to his past experiences. He has a habit of only thinking about himself and what's best for only himself or his Pokemon. Despite this, it is possible for him to care about others who respect him just as much. He really does have a heart deep down there, but nobody'd believe it.
BIRTHPLACE: Lumiose City, Kalos Region
HISTORY:
Dustil was grew up in the largest and most populated city in the Kalos region. His home was a low-income apartment located in one of the back alleys, but his parents made enough money for the three of them to live comfortably. However, during one of the colder winters, Dustil's mother became terribly ill. Though his father poured all his money into the best treatments and doctors he could find, Dustil's mother passed away when he was eleven years old. From there, his personality and views on life drastically changed. He became bitter and distrustful toward others, and allowed himself to get pulled into the wrong crowd.
For a time, Dustil was affiliated with a gang in Lumiose City. Not just the kind who hung out in the back alleys making empty threats to those who passed by, but a gang that also stole Pokemon and worked for shifty individuals, and he always kept everything a secret from his father. At one point, Dustil sported an entire team of stolen Pokemon. However, one day his father's beloved Vivillon left by his mother was stolen by a rival gang. Dustil saw the effect it had on his father, and the guilt of stealing others' Pokemon began to fester inside of him. One by one he returned the Pokemon he had stolen, except for a Pansage which he could not return to its original trainer after discovering that they had moved from the region. On that day, Dustil decided travel with the Pansage until they could locate its trainer, if that ever were to happen.
Deciding that it would be best to escape the big city for a time, Dustil left his gang and his home city, and traveled to the Avana region after receiving his father's consent. Here, he hoped to have a new start.
