Revan looked up at the looming Pokemon Lab with a trace of hesitation and a slight frown. A breeze blew by, carrying the scent of salty sea air and ruffling her hair as it went. In her arms, the girl held on tightly to a Purrloin. Normally the purple Pokemon would have preferred to walk beside her trainer or perhaps sit on her shoulder, but she knew that Revan was anxious and needed that extra bit of support. The truth was, Revan really was anxious. Morrigan had been her only Pokemon for quite some time now, and she hadn't dared to find another since the loss of her Eevee. Deep down she feared it could happen again, but she had to remind herself that she wasn't in Unova anymore. With an encouraging purr from her friend, Revan stepped forward and made her way into the Pokemon Lab. "Um.. is anyone here?" Revan called out once inside, rather nervously and perhaps a bit too quietly.

In the back seemed to come a noise that sounded like a conversation. But not to long after, the conversation ended and a group of men in suits came out of a room and made their way past Revan; a moment later a man in a lab coat emerged from the room, biding the other men goodbyes. He stopped when he noticed her standing there. "Why, hello there! Welcome to the Avana Regions Laboratory! I can help you get your starter. Our computer is currently out of service so I'm gonna have to go abit old fashioned." he smiled as he put a clip board with the other regions starters and a box with folded up papers that had numbers on them on the table. "So you have two choices. First choice is choice another regions starter or you can let fate work with you and get a random pokemon." He explained.

The Purrloin's ears twitched to the noise coming from another room, and soon after Revan was alerted to it as well. She watched nervously but rather curiously as the men in suits walked by, and then glanced to the professor. She relaxed quite a bit when he spoke, since he seemed rather friendly. Then again, he was a Pokemon professor, so she had no reason to believe he wouldn't be friendly. "Thank you for welcoming me, I'm new to this region." Revan considered her options for a moment, giving a short, quite hum as she thought. "I'll take the second option, please," She answered, letting her eyes wander over to the box with folded papers. She had decided that she was going to meet as many Pokemon as possible on her journey, so it made sense to let fate choose her newest partner.

"Alrighty." he smiled as he reached into the box, and stirred up the papers before picking out one. "Mkay, give me a few minutes to go get your new partner." he smiled as he looked from the paper to Revan. He left her as he went to one of the back rooms. He wasnt gone long, and when he came back he had a pokeball in hand and a Vulpix at his heels. "Here is your new partner. I hope you, your current pokemon and her have great adventures." he grinned as he held out the pokeball. The Vulpix came out from behind Alder and sat in front of Revan, and yipped happily. {{Hope it'd be okay to put the Vulpix stats in later cause I cant access my normal sites right now cause on mobile on my 3DS  |

Revan gave a nod and looked down at her Purrloin as the professor left. Morrigan wiggled out of her grasp and perched herself on her trainer's shoulder instead, emitting a purr as she did so. When the professor returned, Revan couldn't help but smile at the Vulpix. She then took the Pokeball before pausing a moment to gaze at it. "Thank you," She replied, looking back to Alder. She placed the Pokeball in her bag, wanting to allow her Pokemon to travel outside of it for now. Her mind was already searching for a potential name to give to the fiery fox.

Revan took the package and thanked the professor with a nod. For once, she actually felt eager to set out on her journey. "Thanks again for everything," Revan said before turning back to the door, her Purrloin sitting on her shoulder and her Vulpix standing at her feet. Today was a whole new beginning, and she was going to make the most of it. Finally, Revan headed for the door, only turning back once to make sure her Vulpix was following before exiting the lab.
